Lyudmila Betliemskaya

The sculptor Lyudmila Betliemskaya was born in 1958 in Kharkov, Ukraine.In 1977 she graduated from the Kharkov Art College (sculpture). In 1984 she graduated from the Kursk State Pedagogical Institute (Art and Graphic Department). After graduation, works in the genre of animalism.

1977-1978 – a teacher in children’s art school in Primorsk (Zaporozhye region).

1978-1988 – worked at the Kharkov Regional Artistic and Design Complex, as well as at the Kharkov Sculpture Factory.

Since 1988 – a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In 1997 she became the laureate of the Municipal Creative Award in the field of visual arts in Kharkov for a series of sculptural works.
