Armine Bozhko

Armine Bozhko was born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1977. Lives and works in New York, USA. In 1998 she graduated from the Republican Art School. T.G. Shevchenko. From 1995 to 2004 she studied at the National Academy of Art and Architecture of Ukraine, at the department of painting.In 2004, she completed postgraduate studies at the National Academy of Art and Architecture of Ukraine, received a master’s degree in the field of Fine and Decorative Arts.

From 2005 to 2006, Armine Bozhko studied at the Academy of Art. Jana Matejko in Krakow (Poland) under the grant of the Ministry of Culture of Poland “Gaude Polonia”.

From 2003 to 2006 – Assistant teacher to Professor T. Mirzoyan at the Faculty of Painting at the Yerevan Art Institute.

Since 2002 – Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the Union of Artists Armenia.Since 1999, Armine Bozhko has been actively participating in exhibitions and – all-Ukrainian and foreign, and also holds solo exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Armenia and the USA.

The artist’s works are in private collections in Ukraine, Armenia, Norway, Russia, Georgia, USA, Italy, Poland and Canada.
